Saw this on the way into work this morning. Unfortunately, by the time I was able to get a photo, it was much less colourful than it had been. When I first saw it, it was very bright, and had the colours of the rainbow running all across it. I assume the light of the sun was passing through one cloud and hitting this one, and as the sun and clouds moved, they stopped being aligned sufficiently for it to happen.
Just five minutes after I saw it, it had reduced to this red and yellow tinged cloud, making for a slightly more underwhelming photo than I hoped!

Finally figured out how to reduce the graininess on long-exposure shots with my camera, so I decided to have a stab at a HDR image. It’s not perfect (at all), but I’m pretty happy with it as a first go.
Stupid plane got in the way. Those three lines are actually all the same plane. It turned right around, specifically to get all in my face while I was taking a photo.

We had a chilled out lunch on the embankment. Nice weather inspired me to finally man up and buy some running shoes (not pictured!). Haven’t run in many, many years. Let’s see how long this lasts. Certainly, the second that winter returns, I expect I won’t like the idea so much!
