Ireland: slippery roads. All of them. And it’s minus four. And there’s 40 miles of slippery road to go. See you in hell.
I am awake. This is the part of the day that comes before morning. ie the night. Generally I like to spend that part asleep.
On the plus side, very clear skies are making the stars look pretty awesome.
Preparing for a 4am start by staying up and watching Screenwipe. 5 hours sleep, here I come. Stupid early flights.

Good to see my nemesis Horatio Caine in that montage, the biggest abuser of the enhance button in the history of poorly-written TV.
Twitter is on Newsnight review at the same time I am sitting here browsing Twitter. I’m not sure if that makes me trendy or tragic.
The bigger issue is perhaps that I’m not doing anything more interesting on a Friday night.
When pundits like this talk about Twitter, it’s like there was NO POSSIBLE WAY for people to post stuff on the internet before it showed up.
“Hi, here’s five people who don’t use Twitter. Let’s talk about Twitter with them.”
Hah. “If a conservative MP has heard of Twitter, it’s become passe”. No, if you’re discussing it on Newsnight, it’s become passe.

Yay, Firefly and Battlestar Galactica just got mentions as TV highlights of the decade. Oh yeah, it’s Newsnight review, so no one cares.
I like BBC 2’s christmas idents. Also, tweeting about idents may be a new low in my Twitter use.
Whoever is responsible for that sparkly snow effect over the closing credits needs to take a long hard look at their life.
I’m going to stop tweeting for now, for everyone’s sake.

I just never noticed it before
Slightly ashamed to have never heard of Tumblr before. I work on the internet, I feel like I should know about sites like this. I like it, though. It’s like a cross between Wordpress and Twitter. It also has the same problems:
